Official Contest Rules and Regulations

By entering Caledon Tile's Worst Bathroom and Kitchen Contest you are acknowledging an interest in our products and services. You also understand that you may be contacted by Caledon Tile, Bath and Kitchen Centre (outside of this contest) with regards to your interest in our products and services.

To enter the contest, you can choose one of the following: Complete and submit the online form with your Full Name, Address, Phone number, and at least one (1) and no more than five (5) pictures of the bathroom or kitchen being submitted via the Caledon Tile, Bath and Kitchen Centre Website, e-mail your Full Name, Address, Phone number, and at least one (1) and no more than five (5) pictures of the bathroom or kitchen being submitted, or come into the Caledon Tile, Bathroom and Kitchen Centre Showroom (located at 12 Fisherman Drive units 6&7 in Brampton) and fill in a contest application and submit at least one (1) and no more than five (5) pictures of the bathroom or kitchen being submitted. Once submitted, all pictures become property of Caledon Tile, Bath and Kitchen Centre and will not return to the entrant. Submitting Pictures for the contest gives Caledon Tile, Bath and Kitchen Centre permission to use the pictures for display and promotional purposes.

The Contest begins at 9:00 a.m. January 2nd , 2024 (start time) and all entries must be received by 5:00 p.m. on February 29th, 2024 (deadline) to be considered. All entries submitted before the aforementioned start time/date or after the aforementioned deadline will be considered invalid and excluded from consideration in the contest. There is a limit of one (1) bathroom entry and one (1) kitchen entry per household. Caledon Tile, Bath and Kitchen Centre is not responsible for illegible, invalid, lost, damaged, or late entries.

Caledon Tile, Bath and Kitchen Centre will award one (1) Grand Prize totaling a five-thousand dollar ($5000) renovation credit, to be used on a Caledon Tile, Bath and Kitchen Centre Renovation Project for the winning submission as well as two (2) secondary prizes each individually totaling two-hundred and fifty dollars ($250) in Caledon Tile, Bath and Kitchen Store credit, usable on any material purchase or renovation, to the second place and third place runners up. These Credits will be issued to the after tax amount of renovation or purchase. The Grand Prize Renovation Credit will also only be applicable to one project. The Secondary Caledon Tile. Bath and Kitchen Centre store credits will also only be applicable to one project or purchase. If the full amount is not used during the project or purchase respectively, the remaining amount will be considered null-and-void and will not be able to be carried over to a future project or purchase. The contest will take place between 9:00 a.m. January 2nd , 2024 (start time) and 5:00 p.m. on February 29th, 2024 (deadline). Judges for the contest will be appointed by Caledon Tile, Bath and Kitchen Centre and the judging criteria for the contest will be at the sole discretion of the appointed judges. Odds of winning the Grand Prize are dependent on the number of entries received. All Prizes are non-transferable and must be claimed within six(6) months of notification of winning.

Caledon Tile, Bath and Kitchen Centre reserves the right at its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate this contest without notice at any time. Caledon Tile, Bath and Kitchen Centre assumes no responsibility or liability for damages, losses or injury resulting from acceptance or use of the Grand Prize. Liabilities for any applicable taxes, including federal, provincial, and local taxes and/or fees that may apply to prizes are the sole responsibility of the winner. Any required tax reporting forms will be furnished to the C.C.R.A. All expenses not specifically provided for by Caledon Tile, Bath and Kitchen Centre in these Rules are the sole responsibility of the winner.

The winner will be notified by telephone within two (2) weeks (by March 18th, 2024) of the official judgement. If Caledon Tile, Bath and Kitchen Centre is unable to make contact with the winner after three (3) attempts, the winner will be disqualified and another winner will be selected. Winners will be required to verify address of execute and affidavit of eligibility and release within 15 days of notification attempt or grand prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected. Entering this contest gives Caledon Tile, Bath and Kitchen Centre permission to use winner's name and likeness for promotional purposes without further compensation except where prohibited by law.

This Contest is open to all residents of Ontario, Canada within a 50 km radius of Caledon Tile, Bath and Kitchen Centre Showroom who are homeowners, 18 years of age or older as of January 1st, 2024. Employees of Caledon Tile, Bath and Kitchen Centre, its affiliates, consultants, contractors, advertising, public relations, promotion fulfillment and marketing agencies, and their immediate family members (those living in their same households) are not eligible to participate in the contest. By participating in the contest, participants agree to release, discharge and hold harmless Caledon Tile, Bath and Kitchen Centre, their affiliates and employees, from any damage which may arise out of participation in the contest. This offer is void where prohibited, and is subject to all federal, provincial and local laws. This contest is conducted in English. Acceptance of the Grand Prize may require entering a standard Contract or Purchase Order for the goods and services above and beyond contest rules and regulations to be provided, as required by law.
